Baseball Recruiting in 2023

Hello everyone. It has been awhile since I went to my Blog and posted on THE PROCESS. Let's talk recruiting as it stands in 2023 for College Baseball. Here we are, July 10th and the portal is wide open, coaches from D1 D2 D3 NAIA and JUCO are still messaging me about needs and potential players. My 2023 class has been almost done except for a few players. 1 D1 player whi I cannot believe is still on the table and may go JUCO and couple lower levels who are deciding on their destinations. Transfer Portal kids that I work with have done fabulous. The idea that people are just going to pick you up is outrageous. 40-50 % of the over 4000 kids are in the portal looking and praying for a home, most of them having no idea how to go about this process. Most people have heard of the NCAA changing its rules to where younger kids cannot commit to September their JR year. This picture is of 1 of my clients from Texas who is a young man who I got into the Virginia Cavaliers Prospect Camp competing vs JR and Sr players but excelling and catching their eyes. This young man tore it up and showed his skills. He is now on their radar and all of his stuf is currently in their recruiting database easily accessible for them to get my updates and also his progress. I see so many people saying that your recruiting process starts now your JR year. That could not be farther from the truth. You are still on the clock, just a different set of circumstances. This young man is from Texas, but his father played for me in college back in the 80's-90's. He is now ahead of the game. This process goes for D2 D3 NAIA and JUCO.
